Mathletes CompetitionOn Friday, November 8, St. Joseph Catholic School in Uxbridge hosted its inaugural Mathletes competition, with enthusiastic participation from Grade 3-8 students. Students in Grades 3-6 participated in a series of hands-on mathematical questions, and intermediate students in Grades 7-8 were team leaders to support their younger peers. National Indigenous Veterans DayOn November 8, Monsignor John Pereyma Catholic Secondary School observed National Indigenous Veterans Day by showcasing different stories of Indigenous Veterans throughout the school. Exploring the land at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic School On November 18, Grade 7 and 8 students at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School participated in learning with members of the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) Indigenous Education team. The DCDSB Indigenous Education team led students in learning surrounding the Land Acknowledgement, Treaties, and solidifying relationships with the land as an act of reconciliation.

St Paul Catholic School - Indigenous Education LearningMs. McAvoy's Grade 6 and 7 students at St. Paul Catholic School engaged in learning during Treaties Recognition Week and Rock Your Mocs Week.
