Red Dress Day St Mary On Friday, May 3, St. Mary Catholic Secondary School recognized the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous, Women, Girls and 2-Spirit People. The school’s impactful display included posters with names and images of Indigenous women, girls and 2-spirit individuals that have gone missing or have been murdered.

This year, schools played the full version of the game for the first time with each team getting ten overs to score as many runs as possible. Earth Hour On Friday, March 22, 2024, lights went out throughout the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) in recognition of Earth Hour! 
Each year, Earth Hour is celebrated by shutting off lights and electronic devices for 60 minutes to help give an hour to the earth and do something positive for the planet. DCDSB recognized Earth Hour by turning off the lights between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to conserve energy. Across 50 DCDSB buildings, 901 kilowatt hours were saved...
