Santa visits the Durham Catholic District School Board's Raising Healthy Children Program

Santa is making a surprise stop before Christmas – he's visiting students and their children at the Durham Catholic District School Board's Raising Healthy Children Program offered at the Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre in Oshawa. Local media are invited to attend. * What: Photo Opportunity Santa visit young parents and their child(ren) at Durham Catholic District School Board's Raising Healthy Children program offered at Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre. * When: Thursday, December 17, 2015 Time: 10:30 a.m. * Where: Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre 692 King Street East Oshawa, ON * Why: The Raising Healthy Children Program is a partnership between the Durham Catholic District School Board and YWCA and YMCA. The program allows young parents to earn a credit towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and bring their child/children to class so that they gain valuable hands-on learning with their little one. The program focuses on the early years of human development (birth to six years old) teaching parents the developmental needs of young children, communication, bonding, and effectively guiding early behavior.
