St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School holds Winter Wear Drive

The intermediate students at St Kateri organized a Christmas community outreach project during the month of December. The project connected with their spiritual themes of the Dignity of the Human Person and How are we Church in the World. for The students planned a Winter Wear Drive in support of Gate 316 in Oshawa. They collected items from our own school community as well as our neighbourhood! Students prepared presentations, created flyers, prepared announcements and collected items from the community. We are so proud of their hard work - this is true faith in action! Over 100 items were collected and delivered to Gate 3:16 during the break! BRAVO!
