All Saints Catholic Secondary School Wins Gold and Sets New Record at OFSAA

Posted On Thursday June 22, 2023

Students from All Saints Catholic Secondary School travelled to Ottawa to participate in OFSAA Track and Field Provincial Championships. Shadae T., Kennedy B., Bryana G. and Kayla G. Broke the decade old OFSAA record in the junior girls 4x100m race, winning the gold medal. The team set a new OFSAA record of 47.73 seconds.

What makes this amazing feat even more special is that these students have known each other since Kindergarten! This year, they have been training together and have also set a new LOSSA 4x100m record this past year. Bryanna G. also won the bronze in the junior girls 100m finals, and Shadae T. won the gold medal in the 100m and 200m finals.

Thank you to their coaches, Ms. MacGregor, Ms. Hartley and Mr. Evans for their support and guidance. A congratulations to this team for all their hard work and successes throughout the school year! We can’t wait to see what’s next.
