Students in the Grade 11 NBE (Understanding Contemporary First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Voices) class at Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School recently challenged Indigenous stereotypes during a Gallery Walk.

Using posters provided by Trent University's First Peoples House of Learning, the students engaged with images depicting positive representations of Indigenous identity that challenge racist labels and assumptions. They were then asked to complete personal reflections about their learning.
