Vicky The Real Artist Visits Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School

On Friday, June 7, English Literature Studies students at Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School were fortunate to have the immensely talented Vicky The Real Artist visit their classroom. Vicky expertly guided the class through her knowledge of pyrography, a technique Vicky uses to express her deep connection to her Indigenous roots. Students created intricate wood-burned canoe paddles that reflected their personal journeys of coming-of-age through meaningful designs. This experience is one that the students will never forget.
